Online tracking system shows delivered sucressfuly to me(Milton address) on 05/21 (it was neither in my mail box nor in front of the door) some one was at home all the time. Spoke with the sender, they have asked me to wait 5 business days as canada post sometimes updates even before it delivers. Called up Canada Post they say they can't do anything?!!
Has anything similar to this happened to you folks?

*** Just an update, I received the package today May 28
(Still do not understand why the tracking system shows delivered on 21 and even canada post call centre confirmed delivery on 21st)

Yep, just wait. I've had it shown delivered for 1-2 weeks before actually arriving.

Yep same thing happened to me! Ordered something from amazon & Canada post tracking said it was delivered but I still haven't received it & that was in march! Luckily amazon resent a new package via ups.

I had one that was delivered to the community mailbox, but I wasn`t given the key to the larger parcel box so I couldn`t get the package.

Canada post was no help as it had to be initiated by the sender. They ended up marking it as lost and the company ended up resending the package
When it was delivered, there were two identical boxes sitting side by side in the parcel compartment. Too bad it wasn`t anything worth having two of..

I had the same issue when I accidentally gave the wrong shipping postal code to Best Buy.

Canada Post: I'm sorry, we cannot take any redirect instructions except from the sender
Best Buy: It is not our job to call Canada Post

F'ers

They told me (Bestbuy) that no way would it be delivered, that I would have to re-order -- so I told them refund my money (which they refused until it came back) -- no idea how long that bull-s would take.

It arrived the next day at the correct address. F'ers.

Not sure but I had some mail delivered open on several occasions. Only mail in my name, not my husbands. Odd.

Something similar happened to me recently but it went like this. Parcel showed it was delivered in Milton. Less than 1 hour later it showed scanned in Mississauga and in the meantime I went to community mailbox found a key to small slot and it was empty so I called to inquire. I was told by Canada Post I am not the sender so I contacted the sender. They told me "please wait until stated delivery has passed". I told them normally I would but since its showing it was HERE (and it wasn't and I was actually home) it leads me to believe they have it. I week later I message company again, say its not here. They tell me they will send another package (items they still have & refund the other two). I also left a note in mailbox with the key saying it was empty and my package was not delivered. Company sent me a new package and Canada Post left me a new key and I received two packages. Not sure where package #1 went but for my time dealing with all this I scored a second package free. yahoo!!
