Yup. That is a story on committee approval of a budget on January 12.

I would expect our local paper to report on the council final approval of January 26, and the resulting increase on our total tax bill.

Yeah, the article they did on Halton Region didn't mention anything about the total tax increase effect on any of the regional municipalities. Mississauga News does a better job one city over admittedly.
