Don't despair guys. I've gone out searching for Angel also, and like Gitte mentioned, hundreds of people are keeping an eye out.
When I was a girl, our lab went missing for over two months. We thought he was gone, but then someone mentioned that their neighbour suddenly had 2 labs instead of one and this wasn't even in the age of the internet. It was about a 10 minute drive away, but we found our guy. The people had taken him in out of kindness, really. Thinking he was dirty and hungry and needed a home (there were no microchips back then either). They didn't call the animal shelter likely because they were 'hoping' to keep him, but the neighbours around them heard about our dog and did let us know.
You WILL find Angel ! Keep the faith. I've even heard of dogs making their way back home for miles, Angel may even be on her way to Oakville. She may turn up unexpectedly on your parents doorstep!
