Forget Hero Burger...put in a South St. Burger....
More than likely since it will be a drive through, I see a McD's or possibly a Starbucks.....(I would prefer the Starbucks) as we dont have one close to us and the one at Market Square is horrible.

I dont think it will be a Tim's considering they just opened a new one a block away and most other fast food chains dont seem to be in the expansion mode.


It will be interesting who the tennants for both plaza's will be considering they will be accross from one another.

I would not mind a burger place or subway etc.. place.

I would rather have someplace close then have my kids cross the tracks and traffic.

id' be completely happy with a local butcher, a bakery, a nice coffee shop, a movie store (super-a feel free to move within walking distance of my house) and maybe a classier pub style restaurant.

I wouldn't mind either coffee shops but I believe Starbucks would be a better fit as the other location on highway 25 has a drive-thru. I have yet to see a 2nd Cup with a drive-thru.

I'll be very annoyed if they put a Starbucks in there... we're planning getting a baby this year, and if I have to cut down on caffeine with a Starbucks finally nearby (shakes fist)... Not to mention the mat leave pay, lol.

I've never been to Hero Burger, but I'll check it out soon. I agree - some sort of 'nicer' drive-through would be good.

How many freakin Starbucks does the town of Milton need? They already pushed out the Second Cup on Thompson (they had good white hot chocolates). Although fast food joints are the devil , nothing wrong with having one on this side of town for a change.

How did Starbucks push out Second Cup? It's all about Location, Location, Location...While I agree the Vanilla Bean Hot Chocolate is far better than any Starbucks hot chocolate, the location of the Second Cup was horrible.

Starbucks closed their poor performing location at Holly and Derry...so to say that they pushed out starbucks is not realistic as both have closed stores in Milton.

I second having a blockbuster, butcher, bakert, some type of restaurant and a pub but would love a starbucks (hey, I would even be happy with a Second Cup) over another Tim Horton's any day.

I also like SC, but I vote for something else as there is already one not far away by highway 25. Would rather see something different rather than a "duplicate" of something we already have on the west side of town.

I find the SC we have isn't as great as other locations - the chicken is fattier, somehow, and not as crispy.

P & L, Blockbuster actually is closing down 20% of their stores in North America in 2010, Video On Demand is growing, and online video. They may try a Netflix thing and see how that goes. It's going well in the USA.

As for what goes in this little spot, I hate to say it'll be more than likely a Starbucks. For a town this size we have too many already I find.

Things Milton doesn't have is Arby's, Burger King, haven't seen a Second Cup around, Pita Pit, and i'm sure I'm missing something else fast food wise.

And I agree South St. Burger is deff better than Hero Burger

I haven't tried Hero Burger or South St. How do they compare to Lick's?
