What I mean is having 2 carseats right beside each other and not one on each doors side. I would hate to lose the middle space.
I will look at the Ford Edge.

Why don't you look at used? I never understand why people want to buy new, especially the american cars as they depreciate CRAZY over the first two years.

I've saved huge by going 1-2 years old. You could probably get a 2-3 year old Acura MDX fully loaded with leather, navi, etc for the same as a new Edge - and highly reliable...

The Acura has 3rd row seating, tons of space inside and the major part of the depreciation has already taken place. When you do decide to sell in a few years, you will have lost less.

Why are you leasing? Can you write it off? If not, you're better off buying something, especially with the 0% interest rates available on new american cars.

It's quite well known that all cars depreciate the heaviest in the first 2 years. History has shown us that American cars do it even more then imports like Toyota. They might be soulless cars, but they are damn reliable and for people who do not want to worry about their car and extra expenses, they are, on average, a better built car. Even this crap about the sticking pedal garbage - Reports are starting to surface that there wasn't a problem and it was dumb drivers. Of course that stuff doesn't get NEARLY the media coverage...

This may be changing with the new generation, it remains to be seen. The American car companies have had to step up their game and the styles have definitely improved.
