Got a response...

Good Afternoon:

Thank you for your email.

By copy of this acknowledgement your email is being forwarded to our Operations division for their review and follow-up with regard to the sidewalk condition at 6969 Douchebag Lane

Best regards,

There are 2 bylaw officers handling hundreds of billions and trillions of complaints. I doubt there will be a follow up regarding the icing issue on Douchebag Lane.

I figured when they said operations division those are the dudes that handle salting roads and sidewalks and crap.. so they send over a dude to handle that and then bill the homeowner via the bylaw.. or not.. whatever, I just want it resolved.

I was trying to keep walking during last couple of weeks.
-29C wasn't stopping me.
But sidewalks. Even those were city is responsible to look after.

Snow is not the biggest issue, but ice. Currently choosing between spikes or skates.

Ahhh yes. The lovely and pristine (meaning never once touched by a shovel or salt) that is the sidewalks along the Gas Pipe. Parks are awesome too.
