I was driving with my Mom through Milton last night and stopped in the middle of Derry just to show her that my street's been paved in the darkness, lol.

Note to everyone: There's a police officer sometimes sitting on the north west side of the tracks and Derry, just to keep an eye on your speed. Not that you'd be speeding anyways, but...

More good news!!!!!

We were just driving through the "hood" and we noticed that the forms are in for the footings for the lots at Scott Blvd & McDougal Xing. I belive they are lots # 215 through to 220. They have also excavated for the lots on Tonnelli Lane 82 - 97. Hope this is good news. I wonder how long untill williamb has something negative to say.

ok, here is an update....LOT 215 GETS THE HONOURS, looks like 216, 217 218 WILL BE NEXT AND 277, 278 ON CUSICK moving ahead as well

1st home formed and poured....concrete foundation is poured...congrats

as far as the plant, talked with some workers...jly 31st will be the first roll out

working out the kinks as can be expected but 6 homes are ready to go...

and the homes will be complete, that means carpet paint kitchen cabinets everything except brick which is obvious...

plant holds about 11 homes

and the 50' lots will be built in there as well

Does anyone know when the closing for this first home is? from what williamb says, it looks like this home will be ready in September.

Well...we're 219...so we'd be the 7th house in if William is correct. We were supposed to be Sept 13th, but we got pushed to Nov 21st. If these houses are rollin' already, I don't see what would take until november!?!

Lee & Michelle,

Did you just get notified of your delay? What is the reasoning?

We haven't gotten a delay letter for our village home for the escarpment phase, and I think we have one of the first closings for village homes of Nov 1st.

We have Mattamy U on the 31st so I guess we'll see what they say.

Have any of the VillageHome owners received delay notices yet for the Escarpment Phase??

Dont mean to rain on anyones parade (were in 15A) and have been delayed 2 months. We were supposed to move in September.

At Mattamy U, we were given a "time line" on when to expect completion of certain stages. Our foundation has been in for a couple of months now and according to our "time-line" our frame and roof should all be up by August 1st. So far the lumber is still sitting out in front of our Lot.

Does anyone know if the Main Street Town homes on Scott BV just South of Derry Road are being delayed?

We are in lot 315-5 phase 1 Kingsbury End.

We are in lot 314-3 and have not been delayed yet. Keeping our fingers crossed.

Haha
Bag timing
I got paranoid today so I wrote Kelly and we will be getting a delay, they just not sure how much.
I was holding on to a glimmer of hope since they just dug down on our lots last week.

In all fairness you should definately be in your Brentridge before us!

We are excited and sad about the delay of course.
Just keeping our fingers crossed that we are in the house for Christmas :)

Are you thinking your going to get another delay?

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that you don't receive another letter.
Keep us posted on how it goes.

Its frustrating because you wait so long for it. But I guess its the joys of having something new.

We are just renting now, so its not like we are out on the streets because we're delayed... which is okay.
