We were out at the site on Saturday and it looks like block 233 is progressing nicely (the framing is almost complete for these 6 units). We're in block 235 and were supposed to close the week after block 233 if I remember correctly from the paperwork at the sales office. Since they just finished backfilling our foundation late last week, I'd guess that we're now about 3-4 weeks behind block 233 - Which lines up with the 30 delay notice that we received.

Cara/Tom,

I'm not sure which block everyone is in but from what I've seen at the site and what Frank/Jen indicated, it looks like block 233 is still on schedule.

Just got my letter today.

July 5- August 8th.

So that's block 230 delayed.

I was just at the site last night- it's looking great! The block across the street from me...not sure the number looks great!!

Can't wait- I can use that extra month- so I'm not too worried. More time to plan the Gifford street party....

Here's the info from the Mattamy U paperwork:

Sod:
Sod will be installed seasonally. Please remember
we are at the mercy of Mother Nature!

If your home is closing between April and August,
you should have sod within 4 months.

If your home is closing between September and March,
you will receive sod during the following installation season.

So if your new closing date is in August, you should still be okay based on the above...

Hello everyone we are lot 237-3 and just received a letter from Mattamy saying that our house has a roof and is now ready for the interior work to begin. Our closing had been delayed from June 28 to August 1. Did anyone else on Gifford receive a letter? I think we will drive out this weekend and have a look.
Have a great long weekend
Ian and Franca

We were at the site a few hours ago. Lots of mud but no security. We were able to go into the house and walk around. We still had no stairs but were able to walk the main floor. Pretty cool to see how things come together. We have a fire hydrant in front of our house and I believe the cable box is sort of between our house and I think lot 237-2.
Have a great weekend
Ian and Franca
