Just wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding the land development approvals for Phase 5A. They said mid to end of March...I haven't heard anything yet...just curious.

We also purchased in 5A, have not heard anything either.

I hope the approvals happen, as it really doesn't seem legit until the "actual" contract is signed!
Please keep me posted if you do hear.

Is that a Wood Lily you purchased? We also bought a Wood Lily (but a corner)...we are lot #147 on Merkely Gate, closing April 09 (hopefully)LOL

I really can't wait to have the approval done! I have a wedding to worry about, I don't want to worry about the house lol.

We bought the Royal Fern, it has the same garage situation as the wood lilly lol. We are cosing Nov 2009 (hopefully too hahaa). Our street is Gastle Way, lot #23!

Hello,

We just purchased the Fernridge (closing August 2009) and we're waiting to get called in to sign our contract...just like everyone here, we're waiting for the approval. You do need to go to your lawyer to go over the contract before you sign. Our lawyer advised us to take out a few lines out of the contract...somewhere in Part 9 regarding levies, because they can change anytime from now up until you move in. It is very important the lawyer checks off everything before you sign off on a contract. I'm guessing we'll get called very soon. They said it can happen anywhere up to from now till May 23rd...time varies.

I'm thinking they're calling ppl in based on when the booked. We booked on March 11th.....when did the rest of you book??

We got a call last night! We are going in Friday night to seal our deal!

Regarding Lawyers...check out the Legal forum on here...people have listed a few standard contract changes that their Lawyers recommended.

Why pay a lawyer to review it when most of the changes are all standard, and someone else already paid the lawyer to confirm these changes.
