When I visited the model homes a couple months ago I was chatting with the lady at the desk about how I was part of the focus group for the Green Initiative! She told me that the model homes are going to be lived in for a year by families so that they can get a more realistic idea of how energy would be used in these homes.

I wondered what they were doing with these two houses.

1. Because they closed the enterance.

2. Because they took down the huge Canadian Flag.

Would be interesting to see their energy usage as well.

One of Mattamy's newspaper advertisements recently had one of the 2 green model homes listed for sale. It was pricey, sorry I can't remember the exact price. I should have clipped the ad or saved it. I'm assuming it's already sold by now, but if anyone was interested they could call and check.

If I was the buyer, I'd have asked them to keep/leave that big Canadian flag :P . It was nice to see driving by on Derry.
