Apparently most or all counter depth fridges are just over 69 inches. We have the deep fridge upper which doesn't help. Has anyone put a fridge that is just over 69 inches into a standard opening? Does Mattamy actually build it to exactly 69 inches? Has anyone measured it? |

Ahanna, if you cannot be anything else but rude then maybe you shouldn't be posting on here. People come here to look for help and have discussions...if you're incapable then don't bother putting in your two cents. So...thank you for your wonderful insight...without it I would be lost. By the way when you post new topics maybe someone who never thought to search for it will see it. I have found many things on here that I would not have thought of looking for because someone else asked the question. That being said is there anyone that can answer my questions more directly, have you tried it, when you measure your opening is it a 1/4 inch off, right on, or have you seen bigger variations? |

Perfect, Thank you all for your help! I was worried we could get it in and then the cabinet doors above it wouldn't open Sean that fridge is not a counter depth one is it? It really doen't stick out much, maybe it's not worth paying the extra for the counter depth fridges. |

For the model of fridge we were looking at, counter depth was only 3-4 inches shorter than the regular model, I would have assumed a much bigger difference considering the huge price difference on counter depth models. |

I no longer have to posted to get answers. I just do searches for answers to my questions. Thousands of poeple have moved to Milton before me so I know they would have asked these questions before. The link is below: http://www.hawthornevillager.com/phpbb/ ... ge+opening Also you have to worry about getting certain fridge (according to the type you buy) through the front or back door. If your front door is double door, it will not be a problem. When I got my french door 25 cubic feet fridge, they had to take the doors out in order for it to fit through the front door. The delivery guys must know this before the date of delivery so that they will have the tools on hand to do this. Ahanna Thank You for the link and the mentioning of the door. |

When we were looking at them they were about 300 more expensive and for less space. I can't justify it although I really like the idea of it not sticking out. |
