It has some informational perks to it. But nothing that is worth coming from out of town for, IMO.

You can find out some interesting things, but you can basically find out the information from this forum. Nothing critical to buying your home.

yeah i agree, the best part for me was chatting with my neighbours. You can ask any questions that you have but really you can email your builder just as easily and this forum is really helpful too!
