Does anyone know what the rules are for the requirement of railings on porches? We've got an 18" drop off the side of ours and it seems a bit much to have left open.

When did you close? I didn't get my railing until about two months after my closing date.

Decided to call Mattamy and was told it has to be 24" before they'll put a rail in (unless the plans called for it regardless), incase anyone else was curious.
