Just an FYI, CPA certification is typically 'Certified Public Accountant' a US designation. Unless you require some US experience you are probably in the market for someone with a CGA certification.

In Canada there are 3 accounting designations, I'll leave who's better for what for the organizations marketers, but they are CGA, CMA and CA.

Now granted, CPA can also refer to a payroll designation, but I wouldn't use a CPA acronym and accountant in the same sentence and not expect people to think of the US designation.
