why something so big?

Wouldn't a counter-depth give a sleeker, more built-in look?

Lowe's has a huge appliance sale on right now, our 25.6 Whirpool was $1700... might be worthwhile price shopping there as well.

And I'm with you... counter depth only shaves 4-5 inches from the front but costs you a lot of cubic feet of space on the inside and a lot of $$$...

I guess having a huge fridge like that saves you needing a second fridge/freezer downstairs in the basement, which in turn would save you a pretty decent amount on your monthly hydro bills.

We have a Samsung fridge and absolutely love it.

its a 27 cu/ft side by side
http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/deta ... 77ACRS/XAA

its very quiet, keeps things nice and cool and has a lot of space.
the seperate control temperature drawer in the fridge also come in very handy!

i would highly recommend Samsung fridges.

We have Samsung, both people from Brick with whom we have deal purchased it for their homes and they recommended it for us. Our friends just ordered this big one. Our model is regular size has digital display on front door which shows freezer and cooler temperature. It also has very easy ice maker which does the job without water line. It is also very quiet and does sounds alarm if door is open for too long. It was very reasonably priced too. The only disadvantage with this model – it is not energy saving model.
