If the daycare is licensed, I believe by law, they have to post any warnings, siting etc at the daycare itself.... however, that may be for current issues. Resolved issues might not require to be posted.
The daycare that our child goes to does this, however, it doesn't mean things won't happen.
ie. Our child had his finger tip severed at daycare last year. It took us calling the Ministry of Children & Youth Services, (
http://www.ontario.ca/ONT/portal51/licensedchildcare), to get any answers from the daycare as they were afraid we would sue them, and so didn't follow the proper steps in this instance. The daycare then had pop-in visits/inspections and recommendations for fixing the issues that made it unsafe in the first place.
If we hadn't, the daycare wouldn't have needed to post what happened or get the unsafe doors at the daycare child-proofed.
So, with that said. Try browsing that website above. It might give some info on what the daycare needs to post should they ever have had any problems. Hopefully there are none.
