Gcpert that is not totally true. I am single and moving to the burbs. Not all us single peops live in the T dot in condo's sippin martinis.

Singleguy, Nice to meet you. I am glad I am not the only single moving to the escarpment. So... where in the escarpment are you moving to. What type of home did you buy and what model?

Been there done that. My fiance and i are leaving the restrictive condo lifestyle for our first detached home in Milton. Just because we are Hitched (or soon to be), we have no kids and still like to party! Its unfortunate milton doesn't have any nice clubs.. maybe when it grows a little larger a club would be viable here.

It should be an interesting transition giong from a condo and having the "association" sending you love notes threatening fines for parties that are too loud...... now... Freehold and detatched, so only neighbors and OPP will bother us.

hmmm if we get the neighbors drunk, hopefully they won't complain too me! LOL

I'm single, no kids and grew up in milton!

There are more of us around then you might think!

Just get out and do things that you enjoy and you are sure to meet other single ppl in Milton!

We're getting married in a few months ourselves, but don't plan on giving up the martinis yet. :) Heck, I'm picturing lounging on my porch with one! Never lived downtown, but it was one of the things I always wanted to do... Not in the cards though!

We'll have turns hosting parties! Singles can mingle, and us married-folk will sit back and complain, lol.

I'm single, no kids. I think there are a couple other ladies on my street who are also single/no kids. I have had TONS of people ask me why the hell I would buy in Milton instead of downtown. As if I should make a real estate investment based on whether I'm single or not. :lol: Actually, since Milton was more affordable than Toronto or Mississauga, it just seemed the best thing to do on a single income.

Partaaaaaaay at singleguy's house! I'm off of Hepburn as well singleguy, so luckily I can just stumble home from your house. :wink:

I'm 25/single and bought a place here just to get out of Mississauga. I'm down for the block party whenever! I've only got a year left in the Hepburn area until I move to the Escarpment, so I may as well leave my mark! :P
