well I wouldn't necessarily call it a rip off..... we have a rocker recliner that we bought from them in 2000 - and twice since we bought it we have had to have the rocker mechanism repaired. 1st time the repair guy (not belonging to Lazy Boy - but contacted by them) came right to the house and was able to fix it on the spot as he had the part, I just paid cash for the labour part which was like $40. 2nd time - same thing - guy came to the house - put he had to take the chair away and he needed to bring in the part and sort of had to take the back of the chair apart to fix 2 broken springs. Lazy boy paid for the parts and I just paid $75 for the labour. Fair enough to me - and I never had a problem with the customer service part - called them - told them the problem and they sent a guy out. Jo |

nitu wrote: For anyone considering buying furniture at lazy boy, save your money and don’t bother with the warranty. We got a leather set from them and when we tried to make a warranty claim, we got nothing but terrible customer service. The problem is that lazy boy provides the warranty through an external company.
Define "warranty claim"...every company covers different things in their warranty, you need to be specific. |
