I can't believe the speeds that people are driving on Bennett Blvd. lately. It's very dangerous just to back out of our driveway. This morning I backed out of the driveway (there were no cars coming at the time). I immediately put my car into drive (I certainly didn't take my time) and a driver came around the slight curve on Bennett driving approx. 80-100 km/hour!! They sped past my car and almost tore the side off of it. They then barely stopped at the stop sign (Bennett/Kennedy) and took off towards Starbucks!! I know that I really need my coffee in the morning, but not at the risk of endangering other people!!!!! Please slow down on Bennett Blvd.......after all there are a lot of children on this street (due to the fact that there's a school there - with a posted 40/km per hour speed limit by the way). Next time I will think fast enough to write down the person's license plate and report them as a dangerous driver. |

The city should post this on all Blvds. in neighborhoods
