LOL.... No such thing.... I hate the sidewalk side, it is more work. More snow to shovel, more dog poop to pick up, watering that little patch or grass Grrrr. Just be glad you do not have a corner house with side walk all around. Maybe invest in a snow blower, I don't think that the city will change their routes so you shovel less. I guess on days like this: the grass is greener on the other side. |

I have the same problem sometimes depending on who the snowplow guy is. I have a street that 'T''s in front of my house. Some plow guys will push the whole street up onto my sidewalk instead of pushing it down the opposite way onto a green area where there is no sidewalk. last year I had a mountain of show on my sidewalk that was 7 feet tall almost 12 feet wide and the thickness of a sidewalk. To make it worse it had been plowed so it was all heavy, wet, sticky snow. The kids liked the tunnel that was left after I spent 2 days digging it out though. |
