Don't sweat it....you'll have a ton of new issues to worry about when your house it built...

Same with us. Foundation pictures are great when all you have is a foundation, but I don't think we've looked at them since.

These pictures can be invaluable when doing work after close to determine things like joist or stud position, mechanicals, etc. This was my primary reason for taking pictures of my own house during construction. I have referenced these myself many times and have shown them to the various contractors I had in to do work on the house - they always told me that almost no one can provide pictures of the insides of their walls which means they need to do more trial and error on your house as they work.

Other than this practicality, there isn't much need to have those photos really. You won't impress your family/friends much by showing them off. And it sounds like your house is still at the stage where you have plenty of time to take useful photos.

I agree vwith Gecko - framing stage pictures are very helpful in doing post-closing work. It helped us installing the 5th speaker (thanks to Curtis Behnke and Greg Scott) when it seemed impossible to do it.

@Tanya - if your model is identicakl to your neighbours, I guess you should be fine.

There are lots of errors in the building of a new house. The wrong # on the stick will be the least of your problems.

Your pictures of how you decorated the rooms and your first Christmas there will be much more important than the framing pictures. I have never looked at ours again. As another respondent said "don't sweat the small stuff".

Good luck with your new home. Hope you love it as much as we do.
