Post subject:  Authentic Chinese restaurant/groceries?

Does anyone know of any authentic Chinese restaurants (for dim sum, etc) or where to get Chinese groceries in the area?

I currently hike all the way to T&T in Mississauga for groceries and a few restaurants there as well.

Thanks!

We're in Burlington and go to T&T all the time. Haven't found anything like that closer.

I also go to T&T supermarket and the best Dim sum is at Emerald on Hurontario and Eglington.

Emerald is kinda expensive. It is good though. There used to be a bunch of places in Mississauga for dim sum, but alot of them have closed. There are still a couple though. I can not remember any of the restaurant names right now, so I will have to get back to everyone with the names. I dont read the signs, I just eat the food... :D

We go to Summit Garden for our dim sum and its great.

In the rare occasion that I'm in the mood for Canadian Chinese food, is there a good place here anyone can recommend?

There is also a really nice place (albeit quite a bit smaller then Emerald) called The Perfect Kitchen which has dim sum. It is located right across from the Movie Theatre near Dundas and Winston Churchill and on the same side as the Costco.

tremendous - wolfedale between dundas & burnhamthorpe, 1.50 dim sum but it doesn't look very nice but I'm sure its ok. Lots of chinese places to choose from in the creditview/burn area.

I doubt we'll see anything authentic in Milton. Pho is your closest bet, there is a thai place in town, haven't tried it though.

And there is AJ's grocery on Bronte, nothing like T&T but they carry some asian stuff, filipino, chinese

We just moved to HVE and we still go to Kingsley Chinese Restaurant on Kennedy Rd & Queens St. in Brampton for dim sum. Huge place and really good dim sum.
