I have noticed a small amount of water leaking out of the bottom of the boiler. Is this normal?

No, that is not normal. You should have it checked out and repaired.

If it is a very small leak, then it may seal itself as minerals in the water can temporarily block small leaks. This does not mean that the leak is repaired. It will just mean that you have a leak that is not active.

Good luck with that.

It sounds like the drain valve on your tank is leaking - not unusual. Call Reliance and they will come and fix it - no charge.
