The main (and really only) issue stopping me from getting VOIP is that I can't transfer my number. My wife does not want another new number as we just got a milton one as we couldnt move it with Bell when we moved in. No VOIP company will transfer milton numbers yet that I've found.

Been using Vonage since July 2004. So far so good, nothing major. I wouldn't go back to Bell (I need a 416/647 number as some areas from Mississauga that I call to/from would be long distance from a Milton number).

Line quality is at 90% compared to landline, which is good enough for me.

A whole bunch of free features, a lot of free long distance minutes, etc.
