Sigh...so, both of the screws for our shower drain cover plate worked their way loose and fell into the drain. Does anyone know what size the replacement screws are ? I have tried both # 6 and # 8 stainless steel machine screws, but they don't fit... BTW...I don't want to replace the entire assembly, which is all that I seem to be able to find at Home Depot. Any suggestions ? Thanks Derek |

Not if you er.. uh... find one that has already been opened by some inconsiderate shopper... naaah, I wouldn't do that. |

Maybe the screws are still in the trap below the drain. If so, you may be able to get a magnet on a string or something and pull them out. Magnets on pointers are also quite common. Just a thought. |
