I was reading the MIlton newspaper and was :shocked: to see what's been happening in Milton 's residential area recently.
Here are some of the cases that happened:
Nov 19, 2004
A youth faces a weapons charge after a resident saw what looked to be someone pointing a gun at pedestrians last week.
Police were called November 11 to investigate the incident, which took place at Main and Ontario streets, and discovered a replica gun.
A Milton boy was charged with having a dangerous weapon.
FARM BROKEN INTO
Machinery was stolen from a Sixth Line farm Monday morning.
Sometime between 8 a.m. and noon, unknown suspects entered an unlocked shed and stole two chain saws, a Stihl and a McLaughlin, worth a total of $1,500.
HOME BROKEN INTO
A No. 2 Sideroad home was broken into Monday.
Sometime between 4 and 6:30 p.m., unknown suspects kicked in the front door and stole various electronics. A value of the stolen property hasn't yet been determined.
HOME BROKEN INTO
Unknown suspects broke into a Laurier Avenue home Tuesday.
The incident occurred between 11:45 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Police don't know how entry was gained. Stolen were two headsets, 20 CDs, about 25 DVDs and a wallet.
The estimated value of the stolen property is $400.
VCR, JEWELLERY STOLEN
A Robert Street home was broken into overnight Monday.
Unknown suspects entered the home through an unlocked window and stole a VCR and jewelry. The value of the stolen property hasn't yet been determined.
TIRES SLASHED
All four tires of a vehicle parked at a Martin Street home were slashed overnight November 10.
The estimated value of the damage is $200. Police are investigating.
CAR WINDOW SMASHED
A window of a car parked at Kelso Conservation Area last week was smashed.
The driver's side window was smashed sometime between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. November 11, and about $200 in damage was caused.
