I hope it's a timmies personally. I said yes I want a drive thru but zhamid made a good point...perhaps a little further away from the homes will appease all.

Anyone know what it is in terms of the drive thru? I'm hoping for a Tims as well.

I'm for the drive thru. You'd be surprised how many will want it over not wanting it. In terms of lowering value of the land, I don't know if it really does that but looking at other drive thru's, garbage is usually maintained well. If it isn't for some reason, complain to the company who should be taking care of it.

I can't stand drive throughs :|

Another con of a drive through is people 'drive-thru' with all their fast food/crappy coffee/change/purse/etc. and they are too busy juggling it to pay attention to driving ... resulting in people driving like idiots around drive throughs.

I don't really think it's that big of a deal.

I'm in the same row as you newbie13... just further down, we're going to be by the garbage house... yuck!

I'm looking forward to having the convenience of the plaza there, not looking forward to the light that's going to be coming in my bedroom windows when I'm trying to sleep... or the smell of the garbage house...

As for the drive through, I didn't think it was going to be a coffee place, but it makes sense. I don't think I'll mind it, except maybe the added noise it'll create.

oh well, with convenience usually comes some inconvenience.

LOL Fred your funny...

Iknow you will get a super large privacy fence, but I hope they line the fence with some large tree's to at least muffel some of the noise for you.

Wont be a Tim Horton's considering that they are putting one in at Bronte and Derry.

dont know for sure but would suspect a McDonalds, although Starbucks also has small stores with drive throughs along Dundas.....(won't hold my breath on that one as I have heard that there are no additional plans in Milton for the time being with the closure of Holly and the Opening of the Indigo location)

The last thing we need are more banks or pharmacies in Milton....I really hope it is coffee/food.

The last think we need is more drive-thru's.

If you are too lazy to get off your butt and walk in, you don't deserve your food/beverage.

I'm sure most fast food and coffee joints are wheelchair accessible ...
