You are right to be upset by this. Not only is it gross, it is negligent on their part! Surely there is a polite approach to this.

That is simply disgusting and ignorant of your neighbor. Esp since you have small children. Politley ask them to stop this practice!
Good luck and sorry to hear about this. Your neighbor should know better.

As a dog owner myself, I would never even think to do something like that. We have a fence now, but only for a couple of months, so yeah it makes things a lot easier, but before the fence, it was still on our property.

This type of behaviour makes all us dog owners look bad, and it bothers me.

My wife and i walk our dog all the time, but we always have our doggie bags with us, and we never let her go on a neighbours lawn, not for pee or poo. In fact there was a time last year, before we got the grass that i was waking my dog for a walk to the park... she's weird she will only pooh on grass... I know I know but I still love her. Anyway, she had a touch of the runs and she had to go so bad she actually went on the street... you don't understand that is a big deal for her... I felt so bad i went back with a pail of water and brush and cleaned up. I know it wasn't normal dog pooh, and it would have washed away on it's own, but I just couldn't leave it.

As far as your neighbour, well I think yu need to say something, if you don't they will think it's okay, and it's not.

I'm sure if you approach them nicely it should be okay, but based on his actions you never know. So go in hoping for the best but prepared for the worst.

Good Luck, and I'm sorry about your situation, my dog would never do that... well one because she won't poo on stones, but more importantly she knows better... That's another thing to consider that dog was trained to do that, and now believes it is not only okay to do it, but that's where she's supposed to... you have to say something

definitely talk to them about it.
If they are being uncooperative, pick the poo up yourself and leave it on their porch.

Preferably in a flaming paper bag ;)
