Anyone else experiencing a musty smell in their bathroom? It comes and goes, and seems to have no connection the the cleanliness of the room. It seems to be more powerful near the faucet. Any thoughts?

Hi Jennifer
The black plastic ABS piping that leaves the bottom of your sink is covered in a black coating of mould. Anyone who has ever snaked a drain knows this. Mould loves it there because there is food (your skin & hair) and water.
Most people don't notice the smell. I'm guessing you have a super sensitive sniffer.
Keep the basin drain closed and buy a rubber cover made to go over the shower drain.

I'll give that a try, thanks :-)

Our skin and hair is 'food'? Yuck. I'll invest in a plastic hair trap!
