We are interested in using a teenage babysitter for the occassional night out. We have no idea what to pay her, she has said to pay her what we feel comfortable paying. Any ideas for 3 kids 8,6 &4?

Our babysitter charges $5/hr. We always pay her $8-$10....depending on length of time, if kids are awake/asleep..... I find that most of my friends pay $10/hr.

I don't want to age myself but when I babysat I charged $2/hr!!!!!!

I used to live in a small town and we charged $1 an hour!! Didn't matter how many kids. I'm not that old either! :lol:

I believe my niece was getting paid around $8/hour for 3 kids.
