Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's not Benjamin Moore but the new Behr line is amazing! Worth a try and I find it's comparable in quality. I would love to know where cheaper BM paint is in town too tho.

There's an Appleby paint store in the Metro plaza. I think if you mention you saw a sign at Main and Thomspon you save 5$ a gallon. Also, Bergsmas (sp?) sells Benjamin Moore.

I find that the only time Benjamin Moore goes on sale is in the summer when Bergsma's has their anniversary sale....always a good price then. I usually buy some untinted tins and then just take them back in to have them tinted when I need them.......

If you have a colour consult done by Appleby Decor, Benjamin Moore at Kennedy Circle you will get 10% off each gallon. I'm not positive but Bergsma's on Main Street probably does this too.

Or If you need at least 10 gallons and ask they will give you a discount.

The $5off per gallon was only until the 16th October. There is still 25% off each gallon of Eco Spec just now.

If you like Benjamin Moore paint try the new product Ben. That and Natura are the newest waterbourne paints. Natura is zero VOC and Ben is low VOC. I work at the Kennedy Circle store and we are given paint to try so we can speak about it honestly. Ben is the best out the two, great quality and coverage in my opinion. Natura is fantastic too but a bit watery for me, very messy... I prefer a thicker paint...I guess it's the way I roll. ( sorry)

Both paints dry quickly and your home won't smell like you have painted at all.
Anywho, what i'm getting at is that for cost - Ben is $5 less per gallon and better...I love it when that happens.

The store is open to 8pm weekdays, 6pm on Saturday and 5pm today (Sunday)

hope this helps, Lena

Hey Lena, I didnt know you worked at the Appleby Decor store. I'm surprised I've never seen you in there.

I had a consult with the Manager of the Burlington store (on Fairview) and it was worth EVERY PENNY! (cost 150$ I think?). She went through my house room by room and helped me pick out each colour then delivered an overview with each room labeled, and a swatch of the colour. I still have it eventhough I've painted my entire house already.

I work part-time, and did have to leave for a wee while as I didn't have a babysitter.
Maybe see you soon though, pop in if your passing :D

 wee bit of Desperate Housewife info, If you watch the show all the colours are Benjamin Moore and the combinations are available if you like them. You can have Bree's, Gabby's, Lynette or Susan's house

Hi
There is $5 off per gallon again at Benjamin Moore, Kennedy Circle. Just mention the sign on Main Street. Special is on for a week I think.

 If your thinking of painting before Christmas but not right now you can always purchase the base and have it tinted later.
