Who is a good choice to install TV Wall Mounts?

I already have the cable line, conduit and power supply.

This is what I do. And I do a lot of work in Hawthorne Village for many people.

I just had a reality hit the other day when some people I installed things for 5 years ago contacted me again to install things in their new home. So I guess that means I have been doing this for over 5 years :)

Thanks!

After a lot of research, and searching, I found this guy from Kijiji, and he did my install work. He was really nice, and mounted the TV within 30 mins, hid the wires behind the wall too. He charged me $100 (including hiding of wires). If you just need wall mount installed, he was charging $80 for it.

His name is Sunny ... and can be contacted at 647 834 3474

All the other guys quoted me $200+ for the same work.

If you do use Sunny for installation, please post back. If you decide to use someone else, please post back with their details as well, so that other members could benefit from your experience.

Good luck!
Regards,

-Riaz

Actually I just had Greg (buildinghomes.ca) install a TV mount in our master bedroom on Thursday. He did a great job. He also was able to offer some professional advice on speaker placement (mainly around visual appearance versus acoustic placement pros/cons).

Greg did a lot more work than just the TV mount (i.e. he did our speakers, and also did some internet ethernet wiring to the TV for me as our tv model is wired for YouTube streaming) So I can't do a direct comparison on rates. But I usually just call Greg for most of this type of work because I've known him for several years so I've come to trust his work.

Granted he is an advertiser on this forum, but honestly I'd recommend him either way. I'm not being biased just because he sponsors the forum.

We used Sunny for my in-laws place. He charged $175 including the mount & hiding the wires. Work was satisfactory except that he ran the power extension cord along the baseboard to the plug which didn't impress me but I am sure there is a way to hide that by dropping it into the basement and then up maybe?
