| Post subject: | Radiator Fan |
The radiator fan on our 1999 Toyota Corolla stays ON all the time. As soon as we start the car, the fan comes on no matter how cold or hot outside is. This has been going on for over a year and I am afraid the fan will eventually burn out… I am just wondering if anyone would have ideas as to what could be the problem before I take it to True Tech to save some time on diagnostics to point us in the right direction… Thanks All! |

Check to make sure your air conditioner switch is off and/or the fan mode isn't in the windshield defrost mode. |

So, I did some further investigation after opening the fuse box and tapping on the fan relay and the fan stopped!!! But when I turn the ignition on again the fan turns on again. So, I am thinking it is the relay. I called the dealership and it is ~$65 and ~$95 at a parts store. I am thinking to head over to a wreckyard. The only one I know is Cooksville on Mavis Rd. Is there one around here or Burlington area maybe? Thanks! |

I used to go to one off/north of Steeles, east of James Snow Pkwy...can't remember the name. You can also try www.car-part.com . |
