Hi fellow miltonians!

Moving into Milton in 27 days :D and looking for a place to my our son's 2nd birthday bash in June. Looking to do it somewhere outside - does Milton have parks and recs of this nature?

Thank you!

Hi Charisse.

I know of Bronte park, Just on the border of milton and oakville, There is also Lowville Park On guelph line on the border of milton and burlington or theres skedaddle in milton but that is a indoor playground. Otherwise in a backyard, Or check the milton website to check further into your options.

Hey Shaniqua, Kelso Park or Rattlesnake Point are good options too. I think there's a small entry fee, but lots of space and BBQs. Otherwise, Bronte Park is good too.

Lowville Park is nice. It is close to Milton.

I would also say Kelso conservation area is good for an outdoor party. Picnic tables and BBQ pits there near the main stairs down to the beach area. Also have washroom facilities close. There are picnic tables down by the lake as well. Not sure if the washrooms down there would be open yet though.

Mountsberg is a bit of a hike - on the west side of Cambellville. They've got a Birds of Prey display, play barn and animals and picnic facilities.

I would recommend Mountsburg Conservation. My son is soon to be 2, and he loves its there. They have all sorts of activities for children... google it. There is a fee to get in, but Im not sure what it is.

Yes we always use Lowville for our family/friend events. Number one it's free with ample parking and secondly there are washroom facilities with a large playground. Not to mention a lovely clean creek for the kids to walk/play/catch frogs in.

i'm thinking that we're going with this Lowville :)
just curious, do you know if we have to book it or have a permit ... ??
or is it just first come first serve?

It's first come first serve...no permit. We usually host for about 40+ so we get in around 10ish to set up the tables and get the best spot. Just a note dogs on leash are welcome too!

Good luck and have fun!

It just gets better & better!
hahaha, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT!
