Hope this is not scary as I think it's a myth.I read this article somewhere and was amazed how your house should be: 1: If your bed is facing northwest then it draws negative vibes 2: The kitchen should never be below the bedroom. 3: If a mirror reflects your bed, it means a third person will come into your life and relationship. 4: Dead wood or bright flowers is not acceptable, as they draw negative energy. According to Feng Shui, anything that has no life is not good, even though it might be a part of modern design. So replace them with fresh plants. I think our Shady Glen is well designed by Mattamy according to Feng Shui Trini TGIF |

Yeah, and I believe a black cat that crosses my path is bad luck, I can't walk under ladders, I don't walk on cracks etc. Tim |

Before buying of house, usually people get married, according to this kinda theories you will be in much more deeper trouble if spouses stars (this little things one the sky, but only at the night, and only if no clouds) are not matching each other. But I don’t like to return to the house if door is already closed and I will never take fish to eat if I’m going for fishing. Nobody is perfecto. |

If the bedroom is not supposed to be above the kitchen, then I will have one hell of an office complete with Ensuite! I like the sound of that! Matt |

I do not believe the myths whatsoever. If anybody has a Feng Shui non-compatible house, I'll be happy relieve them from the deed for a modest fee. |

We believe in it to a certain extent. As per Feng Shui, if the bedroom is above the kitchen, there is going to be a lot of heat (conflicts, disagreement, etc) between the couple. Knowing this, we still bought the Wadsworth I where the master bedroom is right above the kitchen. We plan to beat the feng shui by generating a different type of heat in the bedroom. Mary |

I have heard that people have paid 20000 to 40000 more for a house with the right Feng Shui in Toronto. My sister; who follows Feng Shui more than I do searched one and half year before she bought her house. An uncle of a friend spent 1 million dollar to design and build a house with Feng Shui design. My house number is 886 which is good with respect to Feng Shui. When the time comes to sell my house I'll sure point it out the Realtor as a selling point to the right client. My point? Fung Shui is not a small matter to some. With Milton becoming more multicultural it doesn't hurt to understand ones neighbour or potential clients better. On another note; with our economy having more infulences from the East our children may study Fung Shui in the future to understand our customers better. Who knows. Kevin |
