Mike, just a thought, maybe you want to add 24 hr pharmacy and walk in clinic #. Those are the ones that REALLY come in handy! I have asked Rick to make it a sticky but still waiting...

I'll keep that in mind for future updates. I've kept the numbers mainly to Town of Milton / Halton Region numbers but thats a great idea.

Maybe after October 25th we can add, "Ward 6 Town Councillor" too :)

My magnets are also being printed out this week. I didn't know Mike was going to post his online. But they are originally his invention (the useful numbers to go along with candidate info) and I was a recipient of one of his magnets back in 2006. They're helpful for new residents with phone numbers for commonly looked for local/regional resources.

Ward 7 residents will be receiving theirs this and next week. PM me if you'd like to pickup one earlier ;-)

Parking is already on the list, you can use the general Town of Milton # (also on) to find Bylaw enforcement.

I was thinking of adding Mattamy's Concierge or Warranty number to mine, but at the end I didn't. Hawthorne Village area isn't Mattamy only. Their's Sundial, Conservatory group, Coscorp, etc. So couldn't add one without all the others. Or otherwise I'd have to make separate magnet run for each.

I thought about adding these for mine. The problem is that one can mistake that as an endorsement of those pharmacies or walk-in clinics. I found it hard to pick from a few.


Pick the closest 24 hr pharmacy, btw, it is SDM on Kerr St. in Oakville, I think. Can you believe Milton doesn't have a 24 hr. pharmacy considering the number of children we have!!!

^ Double check if it is just the store or pharmacy as well cuz SDM near my home still says closest SDM pharmacy is Kerr St.
