I'm getting to love Milton

Cheaper insurance
Same driving time to my work
Price in housing is much better than Brampton and Mississauga
I'm getting to meet more neighbours than Toronto
Now has much larger Canadian Tire & Home Depot

Cons

Roads are being widened so you have construciton traffic
Need James Snow extension finished
Need more infrastructure
Need more food stores

Tim

cheers to that, and i only have to commute to brampton for school

i came from the west, Carlisle, in flamborough, pretty much had to drive 20 min to go to the nearest major store or mall, i love the convenience of having everything in town, even tho alot is still going on as far as construction and infastructure development, but its also a great time to buy property in milton because of its ideal location right off the 401 while still being relatively close to toronto.

Hello,

Does anyone here have any reservations about moving to Milton? Or for those who have now moved in, how has it met your expectations? Given the community is relatively new and growing, I guess it deserves a chance to mature. But I am just wondering how living here compares to Oakville (where I live) or Burlington (where I might buy versus Milton). Thanks!

Milton Rocks! there are some bad apples like any other town, but you are not moving to the wild west or anything.
