Is there a place in Milton that you can obtain a fishing license?

Thanks,
Jenn

No need for the sarcasim... however coming from you I guess it's expected.

Rino- Thank you, will send the hubby now.

We got it from Canadian Tire last year, the one in Milton has since stopped.

I wasn't being sarcastic. You could easily find this information out yourself rather than have it spoon-fed to you. In less time than making a thread about it and waiting for answers, too.

There was also a thread on this not long ago, but then again searching for things is a pain, isn't it?

Instead of hitting the ignore button first....which I am sure many have already chosen to do with your responses, I will say this.....

I did Google it first, obviously not typing in the proper information into the tool bar.

I also searched here...again, didn't find what I was looking for.

This is s public forum no???? Is that not one of the main purposes of a public forum, to ask questions of others.

Didn't your mama ever teach you, If you have nothing nice to say, don't say it at all.

It is people like you that make innocent people scared to post things on public forums, even if it is a simple question. Makes me wonder, have you boycotted all threads telling everyone to "Google it" or do you pick and chose certain people to pick on?

I have to say I agree that Pete most likely meant no offence by his remark. "Google is your friend" is actually a rather polite way to make that point and is acceptable in most forums. It's a modern vernacular thing.

Now if he would have just posted this link and nothing else, that would be "borderline"

National Fishing Week is July 3-11th, and there is license-free fishing in Ontario as long as you're a Canadian resident.

Check out www.catchfishing.com for more information. If you didn't get your license yet, you'll still be able to fish :)

I got mine from Canadian Tire a few years ago... they should still have it (it is a temp one and then you get a real one in the mail a few weeks later)

Actually I think last time I went to the Milton CT for a license they told me it is only some CTs that do it now and the Milton one doesn't. Ended up driving to the CT on Winston Churchill
