I just noticed in my G-mail account that you can make free phone calls to any cell or land line (obviously you need a microphone). They are trying to compete with Skype. Skype is popular in Europe; I'm surprised it hasn't caught on more here in North America. Does anyone know of a web site to SMS to cell phones for free? Or any other free, interesting web sites? |

You can do that with Google Voice, but unfortunately, GVoice is just for USA. They haven't started service in Canada yet. With GVoice, you can even call from your cell phone to all over USA and Canada for FREE. |
