anybody know what's the normal wait time before we can park or drive on it.

it's not like it's August and we have to deal with the heat.

I waited a full week just to be safe.

I'm on a small court and you should have seen the parking on the street last night....what a mess!!!

I was hoping with the cold last night it would be quicker than a week.

We went through this on Pringle Ave last week. It was crazy.

It is a good reminder why I am against steet parking. I could not imagine what it would be like if the bylaw was increased past the 3hr limit.

the only problem with parking in the garage is someone will park in front of my driveway and block me.

when I arrived home last night I was lucky to find a spot. When I left this morning the street was rammed both sides.

did you see the guy that parked around the bend straight with his ass sticking out into the street? you could barely get around him.

I just got my driveway paved yesterday and I have a question - is it normal to have a "drop" between the end of the driveway and the curb at the end of the driveway? I thought that there should be a gentle grading so that the driveway and the curb meet up, not the driveway being approx. 2 cm higher than the curb.

It should be flush because if not the water will pool in the depression. Call Mattamy and complain.

To all the people who are wondering about the asphalt, my advice is stay off it the longer the better. I actually accidentally marked my new asphalt with 2 small square holes when I loaded a wheelbarrow on it. And that was 2 weeks after the paving was done. It seems to take a while to cure and harden!
