The discussion forums were down for a few hours today. I'm not sure why yet, I've sent messages to the service provider to ask them for some info about what occured. The board came back up, and seems to be intact..

The error people were seeing looked something like this...

Could not connect to the database

Canaca says they make daily backups in case disaster's ever occur. I also usually make my own database backup independent of them once every couple weeks just in case myself.

Just wanted to mention this, and thanks for the emails people sent me letting me know about the problem.

Yes, that was the error I got yesterday. I actually started to go through a bit of withdrawal but am all better now!

me too, when work is slow i pass the time going through all the posts!
