I sort of had a heads up that it was coming, so I went ahead and got my test done. I now have to quickly get the recommended upgrades done to the house in order to get some of the grant money that probably will be depleated very quickly. Usually you have 18 months to get it done, now they are cutting the grants by next March 31.

The office that I had the energuide service from is almost closed. Office staff and field workers are being laid off. The only good point is the head office will be open for the rest of the tests.

Stupid stupid stupid stupid.

Energy costs are increasing.. maybe they think that will be incentive enough to get people to spend money on upgrading.

I just had my assessment done 6 weeks ago.. Looks like I should find some money to get my windows fixed and extra insulation added.

ARGH! Bastards!
