Garbage collection Today??

Post subject:  Garbage collection Today??
Anyone know if Garbage is delayed by a day due to the holiday? Can't find anything on the Region's or the Town's website....

I'm happy to read this post..because I thought i was in trouble...

My wife leaves for work about an hour earlier than I do every morning, because she has to catch an early train downtown. Because she leaves first, and she's a very organized person, she's been taking the garbage out every wednesday morning. But yesterday I asked her to let me start doing it, that it's only fair since I leave later than her.

But this morning I slept in a late and when I got outside (later than normal) I didn't see any garbage on my neighbours curbs so I thought crap, I missed the garbage truck - just wait till my wife comes home and finds that out.

But now I'm happy again.. I didn't miss anything :wink:

That's silly.. I usually have as much stuff to recycle as garbage - why every other week!? Will this change?

That will be a property tax increase. I'd rather have it collected everey other week.
