| Post subject: | Basement Framing Question |
Hi Everyone I'm thinking of starting to finish our basement over the winter and will need some framing done. I'm capable of doing the framing myself but lack the time needed to do it. I was wondering how much it might cost to have someone just do the framing for me. I would need about 140-160 linear feet of framing done with 2 doorways and 2 closets (4 foot openings for each closet). I would also need some boxing done around the main ductwork. If anyone could provide me a rough quote on this work I would really appreciate it. Thanks very much Chris |

If I recall, framing my basement was around $2,500 plus tax. I’m not sure how many linear feet that was, but I had 700 square feet of basement to frame. I had 7 doors to put in though. |

Thanks Bremer That's alot more than I'm willing to spend. Did this include your lumber and materials? I would be supplying all materials, I just need someone to put up the walls against the concrete foundation. I will do all insulating myself afterward. Thanks |
