It's actually pretty easy to do on your own. Depending on what make of vehicle you have, you could buy a front license plate holder with license plate bolts from your local dealer, and all you would need is a drill and a pair of self-tapping screws to secure the license plate holder to the bumper. |

+ 1. Take it to a dealer. I'm sure they might even put it on for free and just charge you for the frame. Tell them you need to find a local dealer to work with now that you have moved here, and they'll probably take the bait. Maybe get an oil change at the same time if you are due to sweeten the deal

Dealer 100% When you tell them that you will start servicing the car there, I'm sure they will have no issues doing it for free. |

Just take it to a private shop, and pay a reasonable fee to have it done if you can't do it yourself. At the same time, you'll start building a good relationship with the place that will save you thousands of dollars vs. going to the dealership for your regular maintenance. Lying to get things for free is a low-brow douche-bag maneuver. Obviously if the car is not being serviced at the dealer (no warranty), I would suggest otherwise. |
