For your furnace filters, did you guys find a sponge-like filter as an original unit rather than a paper-framed unit that shows the size? I can't figure out the size for my filter; does anyone know what the size is for Lot 13? (16x25x1??) Pardon the ignorance, and thanks in advance.

1) Read the manual (usually placed on top of the return furnace duct at the bottom of the furnace)

2) Measure the existing filter

And the sponge-like stuff is garbage. If you can see through it, it doesn't do much to filter the air.
