It was at this forum a while ago.
It is going to be a gas station.
It is on Mattamy site plans. And it was also sign on the road, not too sure if it is still in place.

It's gonna be a gas station. Hopefully it'll be an Esso with a Tim Hortons inside so I don't have to drive all the way down to Derry Centre to get a coffee.

if you look at the site map - Block 285 is labeled as a gas station. they don't even use the word "proposed"

also, burling garden turns into laughren cr, which wraps around just south of derry - there is no indication that it would hook up with derry. there will probably be one of those white fences between laughren and derry - just like wallbrook cr on the east side of thompson. that's as much as a confirmation as i can give... hope this puts your mind at ease :)

Also, there is going to be a small commercial complex in Coates Crossing (similiar to the one on Trudeau and Derry) at the N/W corner of Yates and Holly. This is expected to be done by summer of next year.

Isn't it supposed to be at the S/E corner of Derry and Holly? That is what I have on my map of the neighbourhood. And I believe there are Main St. Townhomes under construction at Yates and Holly because mine is being built just west of that.

Why would they open a new Petro Canada on derry/thompson when they just renovated the location down the road? Unless you have actual proof to make me completely wrong, I am willing to bet it will be a Sunoco. Just cause there isn't any located near hear. There is one on Steeles I believe, and that is it.

Either way who cares, we will still be gouged, lol.

Well, based on that logic it actually must be a Shell station as there is no Shell in Milton but there are at least thre Petro Canada stations.
