Some of you may have heard of this but it's new to me...

Could be another option to rid of your cable, sattelite and ugly antenna's.

Looking forward to comments from those "in the know" about this service.

Sounds kinda cool, but after reading through the FAQ's, I see that it is still subject to Geo-blocking. It is basically just an aggregator, that is it collects data from other already available sources and brings them to your tv.

There is really nothing new here, unless you need one of their devices to get net contect on your TV (there are dozens of ways to do that now). Basically you still need to get Netflix account to have netflix content, or you are stuck watching Canadian content, since most major US networks block viewing from Canada.

They are really offering nothing new.

I have a boxee, the wife and I love it!
It is in our bedroom and runs off our wireless.

I am trying to convince my wife to get something like this, but she will not live without TLC. So my question is can you get TLC shows on the BOXEE, none of the google searches I have done gave me a definate answer.

not sure about that. a lot of the shows come from the websites. So when my wife wants to catch up on Y&R or something, it is from the global site, the bachelor from CityTV.
