My daughter finally got herself a new "gently" used Blackberry Bold 9700 phone and she has mentioned that she needs to press the END button a couple times to end a call.

My concern is that this button will wear out or get broken.

Any thoughts on how to get this fixed, cost, DIY solutions, etc.

Do you know if it was repaired at all? There's a T5 screw right under that button and it will stick if it's not all the way in.

No, I do not know if the phone was ever serviced, but I doubt it.

Yes, we know that you should only have to press the button once......

With ours, sometimes it needs to be pressed twice or three times to END a call, hence the question.

Thanks anyways f.
