The reason I originally joined this forum was to do research for an impending move to Milton - over the past couple of years I've had some fun on here and at other times it hasn't been so fun but overall I like visiting the board and posting - getting advice and sometimes giving some advice.

Just wanted to say overall this is a pretty solid group of individuals and while I haven't met any of you personally (well except 1 person but that was a while ago) I think you're all pretty neat :)

The top few things I've learned while on this board:

1. Homebrewing (still a novice but getting there)
2. Crossfit (have to get my arse back there I enjoyed it but now have a complex)
3. Basement Renovations (helped me setup a nice home theatre)
4. Baby Advice (sometimes its a tough transition to dadhood)

I just learned that I'm apparently a pretty racist individual.

That, and where to find old barn wood.

I learned that many people seem to have an irrational fear of fluoride, cellular antennas, and wifi. I also learned that the Ontario Liberals seem popular among forum members (often the ones with the fluoride/cellular/wifi fears), that Conservatives are to be viewed with the evil eye, and that saving the world one house at a time requires solar panels and higher electricity rates. There's probably more over the past 5 years but I have crappy long term memory so who knows what else I've forgotten.

Oh, and I learned that Tony Lambert is an idiot.
